I bought this bag of dirt for my little son's birthday in February. He and I love gold mining shows on TV. This was a fun investment. Panning out the gold is not that hard...gold is indeed very heavy, even tiny specks. It's also very easy to spot, so this was a very fun way to spend time with my son. It's quite exciting to find some pickers too. Here's the pic of a 2.5 pound bag gold haul. I don't know exactly how much weight it is, but we basically got a little piece of gold in almost every pan. Some pans were way better than others...and some had no gold of course. But all in all I plan on buying another bag of this for his birthday next year, and maybe even one for me even sooner. Ha! I admit I had more fun than him, but he's 5 so his attention fades quickly. It seems like childhood is the cure for gold fever.

I was skeptical at first, but after reading all the wonderful reviews I decided to try. This was my first time panning and was totally excited to see color for the first time. Finished panning my last order which was 18 bags of chase for 3 oz. Got 3.32 grams from this last order, my total now is 11.85 grams total. (Now have 1 qt jar of black sand to work one day, should get some flour gold out of that). Will up date ya'll on that after I get that job done. Have fun everyone.

Bought the 2.5lb nugget reserve and got 2.5lb free First time buying from here its less than a gram it wont read on the scale I have but it was fun especially when I found that nice picker... My only issue is the bag was razor cut open when I opened it which was a bit odd. Ill give these guys another go and see how I do.

Only panned half of the 10 lbs. The rest I put in small bags to be panned at the museum. This is what I got. Some pickers and flakes. Was happy seeing the gold. Kids at the museum found some flakes and small fines. They enjoyed the chance to find real gold. Will be ordering again.

I received some great looking paydirt after ordering the BOGO 2.5lb nugget reserve item from their website. It shipped quickly and was double bagged, a great confidence boost! I found 0.61 grams of mostly gold flakes/pickers including a small square picker/nugget. I really enjoyed the experience of panning their paydirt even if I didn't break even on the purchase. I felt super excited to get this in the mail! It came fast- 1 day after it shipped. This was my first time buying ore from the Internet. I just want to have fun panning when I knew there would be real gold to be found. I just went this past weekend to the San Gabriel river and found nothing (it�s a 2.5 hour drive btw) so to invest such little money into something definite was pretty cool I thought. I feel like I got the jackpot bag, too! I had a big nugget! I was so frikkin excited! Plus I had so much gold flakes, I felt it couldn�t be real, but it was! I am an upstart Prospector in Texas, i purchased this Goldnpaydirt so i could practice and perfect my pan technique, I followed the Instructions and worked about a tablespoon at a time, every tablespoon worked from the bag had 2 or more pieces of placer gold in it and in total I recovered more than 2 dozen pieces from this one bag, needless to say im hooked and have gold fever, have bought pans, sluice box, classifiers, buckets, mattock pics, shovels, snifter bottles, storage vials etc etc...... I will be purchasing more of this Goldnpaydirt!!!
